The RECRUITS program is designed for kids and tweens who are ready to get their journeys started!
All students 13 years and under who new to The Actors Room will be required to start out in the Recruits program.
Students will learn:
- An introduction to the fundamentals of theatre, including important terms, stage directions, and more!
- How to get started working on improvisational and character-creating skills
- To practice skills in listening, thinking, reacting, connecting, performing, awareness, and self-confidence
- New friends and a TON of fun, playing games, and growing!
It is a fun & safe environment to begin their journey into the world of acting!

How are payments be made?
Your course fee will be split into 6 equal instalments, and the deposit you are making today is your first instalment. Your next instalment won't come out until October 1st.

The RECRUITS program is for kids ages 8-11 who are new to The Actors Room!
The class is a fun, safe, and enthusiastic space for kids to learn confidence in themselves, make friends, and practice their love of performing!
The 14-Week Workshop: For brand new students would like to try out acting for the first time!
The 8 Month Program: For students who have studied with us before and are ready for a bit more of a challenge over a full year from September - June!
Students will learn:
- Having a BLAST each week and making new friends through fun drama games and teamwork!
- Using their imagination by creating scenes themselves in small groups!
- Learning listening skills as they practice how characters relate to each other
- Developing self awareness and watching themselves and their classmates improve
- Practicing scenes and getting ready to put on a show for friends and family!
It's lively learning environment for students to begin to shape their craft of acting!
