About the class

About your coach
Ruth Goodwin is a Toronto based actor, writer, producer, and director. As an actor she best for her roles on Global TV’s Private Eyes and Netflix’s Wedding Season. Other credits include on Baroness Von Sketch, Workin’ Moms, Murdoch Mysteries, Designated Survivor and more…
Ruth is also a Founding Artist of The Howland Theatre Company in Toronto, where her work on stage has gained significant critical acclaim over the last ten years - including four Dora Mavor Moore Awards, three “Best of Toronto Fringe Festival” Awards and a Theatre Critics Choice Award. She also earned a Canadian Comedy Award nomination for her popular improvised stage show, Entrances and Exits, co-starring Colin Mochrie, Andrew Phung and Elizabeth Johnston and she has been named a “Top Artist to Watch” by The Toronto Star and Now Magazine.
